This space was born out of the need for a café that inspires exploration, playfulness, and sharing. Our lasting goal is to create a place that is not only an enclave for like-minded people but also a constantly evolving organism that responds to its visitors.
In the first three years, we’ve learned a lot, observed a lot, and watched the idea of two brothers turn into a reality for Bratislava. We’re not trying to be the best, the most famous, or the most visited. Our focus is on building a sustainable small business and community in a world where everything is a commodity and a chance to sell.
Throughout our journey, we’ve never sold out our values—or our guests. We’ve never spent a single cent on marketing or online advertising. We protect our space from corporations, company events, logos, and branding. Instead, we’re happy to support young artists or lend a hand to our friends.
Every product here—from the coffee to the soap in the bathroom — is something we stand behind, carefully chosen within the limits of what the market and our capacities allow. We’re not a place for everyone—and that’s exactly how it should be. We’re not here to convince anyone, but to welcome those who choose to step inside.
We see rules more as guidelines than strict orders—whether they come from the outside or from within. Still, for peace of mind and to save everyone’s time, we’ve written them down for you:
everyone has the right to order at the bar
everyone has the right to enjoy their coffee
everyone has the right to find the coffee disgusting
everyone has the right to access drinking water
everyone has the right to use the restroom
everyone has the right to complaint, but this is not an obligation
everyone has the right to be offended
everyone has the right to use headphones
everyone has the right to not like the music
everyone has the right to touch every surface
sometimes everyone has the right to occupy a table with computer
everyone has the right to decline an offer to conversation
everyone has the right to play
sometimes everyone has the right to be unaware of their duties
everyone has the right to be misunderstood
no one has the right to violence
everyone has the right to come from any country
everyone has the right for any seat or table
everyone has the right to share any seat or table
no one can share what they do not possess
everyone has the right to cry
everyone has the right to laugh
no one has the right to make another person sad
everyone has the right to not be a scared of children
everyone has the right to move around freely
everyone has the right to pet a dog
everyone can be pleased or displeased by the art
no one has the right to use the space for their monetary purposes
